My health and wellness story began toward the end of high school. I was a very sedentary and unhealthy kid. This took a toll on both my mental and physical health. I lacked confidence and clarity in my day-to-day life, which lead to feelings of anxiousness and lack of ability. I felt that I wasn't in control of my life.
I decided to take matters into my own hands and become the capable person I knew I could be. It wasn't an easy journey but through exercise, proper eating habits with a long-term focus, and mindfulness practices I was able to take back control.
Having your own health and wellness practice can truly be life changing. You will feel more empowered, more energetic, and more capable than you ever thought possible. Your mental and physical health is truly something that is priceless.

It seemed as though almost everything I took an interest in would involve a hands-on, active approach. Naturally the transition into sports took place and in the process I began to really give my attention to the process of human movement.
Fitness Coaching was the next natural step for me and to this day I am as excited as I have ever been at the opportunity to help someone improve their life through movement. I am passionate about giving others the tools they need to succeed and truly believe that so much good can come from taking time to devote to your overall well-being.
Life is constantly moving, advancing, and evolving. Do not underestimate your ability to take control and have a say in your future self!

I grew up doing all kinds of sports. This included softball, dance, gymnastics, soccer, track and just spending lots of time outdoors. In college fitness took a little bit of a back burner while studying engineering but still explored new things like lifting, yoga and running 2 half marathons. Post college, I joined a CrossFit gym as a way to stay active and meet people in the community. I quickly fell in love with the process of working hard, seeing results and seeing my strength increase.
In 2020 I was hit with some complicated pain that made me reassess my fitness journey. It has taken me a while to get back to working out in a way that was comparable and thankfully my engineer, problem-solving brain helps me keep working through it. It’s brought me a different perspective of looking to train for long term health and being able to do what I enjoy for a long time. I love working towards becoming a more well rounded athlete and doing it in ways that keep me pain free. I am excited to step into coaching and sharing my passion for running. I look forward to helping others through their running journey!
