My health and wellness story began toward the end of high school. I was a very sedentary and unhealthy kid, and this lifestyle took a toll on both my mental and physical health. I lacked confidence and clarity in my day-to-day life, which led to feelings of anxiousness and a sense of inability. I felt that I wasn't in control of my life.

I lacked confidence and clarity in my day-to-day life, which led to feelings of anxiousness and a sense of inability. I felt that I wasn't in control of my life. I grew up doing all kinds of sports, including softball, dance, gymnastics, soccer, track, and spending plenty of time outdoors. In college, fitness took a little bit of a back burner while I studied engineering, but I still explored new activities like lifting, yoga, and even ran 2 half marathons. After college, I joined a CrossFit gym to stay active and connect with my community. I quickly fell in love with the process of hard work, seeing results, and watching my strength increase. In 2020, I faced some complicated pain that forced me to reassess my fitness journey. Thankfully, my engineering, problem-solving mindset has been beneficial in navigating this challenge. This experience has given me a new perspective on training for long-term health and the ability to enjoy activities for years to come. I love working toward becoming a more well-rounded athlete while also seeking wellness services that keep me pain-free. I'm excited to step into fitness coaching and share my passion for running, and I look forward to helping others on their running journey!
